Plastic
injection-molding factory converted to a
climate-controlled warehouse.
Vacant for several years before its conversion, this building
was full of extraneous piping and non-structural steel
from its previous use.
The space was opened up, a new office area was added and
improvements were made to upgrade the space to food storage
standards. The loading area was significantly expanded
by adding 10 more loading docks and removing a 12,000-square-foot
building to create better circulation and shipping access.

Former
meat-packing plant converted to a workshop for Gibson
Custom Guitars.
This building was thoroughly cleaned and refitted to make
it a division headquarters and manufacturing plant for
creating one-of-a-kind musical instruments. In addition
to installing humidity controls and a new roof, executive
offices were created and the shipping area was refitted
with updated docks. Gibson not only builds customer guitars
here— it also invites musicians here from throughout
the world for an annual musical showcase.
